Westin Builds Engineering Team in California;
Adds Michael Johnson as Engineering Principal

RANCHO CORDOVA, CALIF. – Westin has announced that Michael Johnson, P.E. has joined the firm as Regional Engineering Principal, responsible for Business Development and Project Delivery.

Mr. Johnson has more than 23 years of experience in the application of control systems and other information technologies to water and sanitation utilities. Throughout his career, Michael has worked on projects ranging from technology to management consulting in order to aid agencies in developing enterprise solutions that improve operations and performance. Johnson is skilled in needs analysis, planning, communication and leadership. Michael is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in California, Nevada, Arizona and Colorado.

Michael has led projects that span many aspects of utility business and operational improvement. His experience is based in SCADA and control systems, having been directly engaged in planning, design, and implementation projects. In addition, he has led projects related to workforce and organizational development, asset and maintenance management systems, and laboratory systems.
